Job summary

Glenville Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Activity Assistant to engage residents with enjoyable recreational activities and support their well-being in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Join a team that values collaboration and offers onboarding, professional development, and a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO and 401(k). Prior activity training is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with coursework in recreation is preferred.
• Completion of a state approved activity-training course is preferred but not required.
• Experience leading recreational activities, arts/crafts, and community outings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead recreational activities, arts/crafts, and intellectual/educational activities.
• Plan and coordinate community outings and group-based activities.
• Collaborate with the caregiving team to support resident engagement and well-being.
