Job summary

Skyview Springs Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an energetic Activity Assistant to help residents stay active, engaged, and connected through games, crafts, and events. You will support a caring team and create meaningful daily experiences.

This role involves leading activities, encouraging participation, planning celebrations, and building strong relationships with residents, families, and staff while following facility policies to ensure safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Coursework in recreation or related field preferred.
• State-approved activity training course preferred but not required.
• Experience leading recreational activities or similar programs preferred.
• Positive, dependable, creative and compassionate attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading engaging activities for residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and events.
• Help lead games, arts and crafts, educational programs, music, social activities, and community outings.
• Assist with planning and supporting special events and celebrations.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.

Activity Assistant – Make Every Day More Meaningful!

Are you energetic, creative, compassionate, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? We are looking for an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our healthcare team!

As an Activity Assistant, you will play an important role in helping our residents stay active, engaged, and connected. From games and crafts to special events, educational programs, and community outings, you will help create meaningful experiences and bring joy to the lives of those we serve.

Employment Type: Full-Time and/or Part-Time positions may be available based on current facility needs.

Schedule: Shift availability will vary based on current openings.

Pay: $12.77–$13.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
