Job summary

The Grand of Dublin is seeking a Fulltime Activity Assistant to join our care team in Dublin, OH. This role focuses on planning and directing activities for residents with varying mobility, supporting engagement and wellness within the community.

Responsibilities include documenting participation, following activity policies, coordinating calendars and events, arranging outings, preparing spaces and equipment, and assisting with transport. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

• Directs activities functions to ensure activities for ambulatory, non-ambulatory and bed-bound residents.
• Records activity programs and participation of individual residents and identifying progress toward established care plan goals.
• Follows written activities policies and procedures.
• Distribute monthly calendar of events and/or monthly newsletter.
• Assist with community trips/outings.
• Prepare room, equipment and supplies prior to each activity and clean up after the activity is completed.
• Encourage residents and families to participate in activities.
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
• Be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
