Job summary

Stonespring is seeking an Activity Assistant in Dayton, OH to provide engaging programs for residents. The role supports residents' psychosocial and emotional well-being through individual, group, and 1:1 activities in a skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate is state tested nurse aide or eligible, eager to learn, with a sincere desire to work with the elderly and collaborate with staff and families. Competitive hourly wages: $13.50–$16.00.

Qualifications

• Must be (or must be eligible to become) State Tested Nurse Aide to allow more active participation with activity delivery
• Willing to learn and communicates well with others
• Has a sincere desire to work with elderly and enjoys working directly with residents, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and 1:1 activities to promote residents' wellbeing.
• Contribute to the activity calendar and tailor activities to residents' needs.
• Conduct scheduled groups and individual activities.
• Attend outings and operate bus lift and equipment.
• Attend Team Member meetings as needed.
• Assist with resident meals (serve/feed).
• Assist with Theme Weeks and special events.
• Document activity participation attendance.
• Assist with Customer Service Surveys and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Facility is currently looking for an ACTIVITY ASSISTANT that is state tested nurse aide . Come join our team as an Activity Assistant at our state of the art, skilled nursing facility. The position provides activities to the facility residents with the goal to promote the psychosocial, spiritual and emotional well-being of residents, families and staff.

$13.50 - $16.00 an hour!

Responsibilities

• Work with other members of the Activity Department to provide individual, group and 1:1 activities, which are essential to the total wellbeing of our Residents.
• Provides insight with the activity calendar and provides activities to meet the needs of the residents
• Conducts all scheduled groups and individual activities.
• Attends outings – operates bus lift and all other bus equipment.
• Attends Team Member meetings as needed
• Assists with Resident meals (serve/feed).
• Assists with Theme Weeks and special events.
• Documents activity participation attendance for all groups and individual activities
• Assist with Customer Service Surveys.All other duties specified by the Supervisor.
