Job summary

Oak Park Place in Baraboo, WI is seeking an Activity Assistant to plan, organize, and implement recreational and social events that promote residents' well-being and social engagement.

Under the Activity Director, you will lead arts, crafts, games, and physical activities, assess interests, and collaborate with other departments to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience in an activity’s role preferred.

• Working under the direction of the Activity Director you will help organize, plan, and execute a well-balanced activity program.
• Organize, lead, and promote interest in recreational activities, such as arts, crafts, and games
• Generate positivity and encourage resident participation
• Work with all departments to ensure resident needs are being met
• Assess the needs and interests of individuals and groups and plan activities accordingly
