Healthcare Nursing Center is seeking an energetic Activity and Event Coordinator to bring our life enrichment program to life for residents. You will design and coordinate activities that foster laughter, creativity, and meaningful social connections in daily operations.

Role emphasizes planning diverse events, engaging residents, families, and staff, and managing budgets and vendors to deliver memorable experiences in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in recreation therapy, gerontology, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience planning, coordinating, or leading group activities, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of state regulations impacting resident engagement and activities.
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute events for diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in social media posting and newsletter creation.
• Maintain current driver’s license.
• Experience managing budgets and vendors.
