The Grove of La Grange Park is seeking an Activity Aide to join our caring, team-oriented skilled nursing setting. You will interact with residents, provide companionship, and help coordinate daily activities to promote social and emotional wellbeing.

We value residents’ comfort and growth, offer supportive training, and require availability on days, weekends, and evenings to fit our care schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum: tenth grade education.
• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Ability to engage residents with empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily activities and social engagement.
• Organize and assist with in-house activities and outings.
• Help schedule movies, parties, games and crafts.
• Provide companionship to enhance emotional wellbeing.
