The Grove of Fox Valley is seeking an Activity Aide to join our caring team in Aurora, IL. You will support residents by providing companionship and helping maintain their emotional and social wellbeing, while encouraging participation in activities and events.

Responsibilities include scheduling programs, organizing games and crafts, and accompanying residents on outings or community activities. Prior SNF experience is valued and the role offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education required.
• Experience as Activity Aide in Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Ability to interact with residents and support social wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain emotional and social wellbeing of residents and provide companionship.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and events.
• Assist with scheduling movies, planning parties, and organizing games and crafts.
• Accompany residents on activities outside the facility.
