Avantara St. Cloud is seeking a Full-Time Activity Aide to support residents through group and 1:1 activities, with weekend rotation. You will engage residents in crafts, games, movies, and outings, promoting emotional and social wellbeing. Prior CNA or high school diploma is preferred, with a supportive team environment and growth opportunities.

The position offers On Demand Pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for advancement within our skilled nursing community.

• An unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited C.N.A. training course is preferred, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the emotional and social wellbeing of residents.
• Interact with residents and provide companionship.
• Encourage participation in activities and assist with scheduling movies, parties, games, and crafts.
• Accompany residents on activities outside the facility and support the activities staff.

As an Activity Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the emotional and social wellbeing of our residents’. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara St. Cloud by interacting with and providing companionship to our residents, encouraging residents to participate in activities, assisting with scheduling movies, planning parties, organizing games, crafts, and accompanying residents on activities outside of the facility. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they emotional and social wellbeing needs are met.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a High School diploma or equivalent. An unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited C.N.A. training course is preferred, but not required. Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
