Eden East is seeking an Activity Aide for Edenbrook Greenwood Hill in Pottsville, PA. This full-time/part-time position offers 20–40 hours per week, with shifts from 9:00 AM–5:30 PM or 12:00 PM–8:30 PM.

Pay is $14 per hour, with every other weekend and holiday, and benefits eligibility beginning after 60 days, plus 401K and paid vacation/sick time. Ideal candidates are people-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each day
• Help design programs to encourage socialization
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
• Prepare and maintain reports on resident progress
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage participation
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday

Position: Activity Aide (Full-time & Part -time)

Details

• Shifts: 9:00 AM - 5:30PM and 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Hours: 20 - 40 Hours a week
• Pay: $14 / HR
• Every other weekend, and every other holiday
• Full time - Eligible for benefits the first of the month following 60th day of employment
• Eligible to participate in 401K
• Paid vacation / Sick time

Job functions will include:

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day
• Help design programs to encourage socialization
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
• Prepare and maintain reports on resident’s progress
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday
