Job summary

Eden Vista Edina is seeking an Activity Aide to enrich the lives of our residents. This in-person role supports personalized activity programming, one-to-one interventions, and small to large group activities, with careful documentation of participation in the resident medical record.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with part-time options at 20–25 hours per week; pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Activity Aide or relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving a community bus.
• Passion for working with people and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and non-verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing activities to meet residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs.
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence and wellness are the focus.
• Help design programs to encourage socialization.
• Provide entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment and improve daily living skills.
• Prepare and maintain reports on residents’ progress.
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained.
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation.

Position: Activity Aide

Shift: Monday - Friday (Weekends as needed)

Hours: 9:00 AM -4:00 PM (Part-time available / 20-25 Hours per week)

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 / HR

We are seeking individuals who are devoted to fostering meaningful and purposeful lives for our residents. The Activity Aide organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one to one interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and value of approaches in the medical record.

Job Functions Will Include
