Eden East in Pottsville, PA is seeking an Activity Aide (full-time & part-time) to support residents with engaging programs and daily living activities.

Shifts are 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM and 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM, 20–40 hours per week. Pay is $14 per hour; every other weekend and holiday. Full time benefits begin after 60 days; 401K and paid time off are offered.

• Experience working with elderly residents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and implement engaging activities.

Responsabilités

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet residents' physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs.
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each day.
• Help design programs to encourage socialization.
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills.
• Prepare and maintain reports on residents' progress.
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained.
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation.
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Position: Activity Aide (Full-time & Part -time)

Details

• Shifts: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM and 12:0 PM - 8:30 PM


• Hours: 20 - 40 Hours a week


• Pay: $14 / HR


• Every other weekend, and every other holiday


• Full time - Eligible for benefits the first of the month following 60th day of employment


• Eligible to participate in 401K

Job Functions Will Include
