Arcadia Care is seeking an Activity Aide to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational and social programs aligned with each resident’s care plan. You will help prepare activity rooms, oversee engagement, and promote residents’ physical, social, and mental well-being.

The role offers options for Full-time, Part-time, and PRN schedules, with a team-focused environment dedicated to quality of life for residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when engaging residents.
• Willingness to adapt to residents at varying maturity levels.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.
