Job summary

Quality Life Services - New Castle is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to join our team serving older adults. You will implement engaging activities, support residents’ daily routines, and help create a warm, welcoming environment for all residents.

Responsibilities include planning programs, conducting indoor/outdoor activities, documenting progress notes, and coordinating visits. A PA driver’s license is required, and prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement programs for individual and group activities based on residents' needs and abilities
• Plan and conduct activity programs to assist residents in returning to the community
• Schedule and implement room visits and in-room activities for residents unable to leave their room
• Plan and schedule both indoor and outdoor activities for residents
• Document all resident and family interactions and complete progress notes
• Provide a pleasant and entertaining environment for residents during their stay
• Driving the company omnibus for resident outings
