WeCare Centers at Sycamore Care Center in Montoursville, PA is seeking an Activity Aide to create engaging, resident-centered recreation programs for our community.

As part of our team, you will plan, lead, and participate in activities, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment. No formal medical duties, but compassion and creativity are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Creative background beneficial for activities.
• Experience with elderly or differently abled preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Ability to follow step-by-step activity programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing, and executing activities.

• Assist in the set – up and clean-up of activity space.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous long-term care or experience working with the elderly or differently abled is preferred.

• Communicates professionally with all residents, family members, staff, and visitors.

• Ability to follow step by step procedures and programs.
