Job summary

Arcadia-Ltc- seeks an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for residents, aligned with the resident’s care plan.

Responsibilities include supporting daily activity programs, preparing spaces, and promoting resident well-being through engagement. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred; compassion and patience are essential. Multiple shifts available including full-time, part-time, and PRN.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department is preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties:

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.
