Job summary

Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Part-Time Activity Assistant to create enriching programs for residents. You will lead activities, provide companionship, and support social and emotional well-being in a compassionate, patient manner.

Responsibilities include planning group activities, engaging residents individually, and encouraging participation to enhance quality of life in our care facility in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct activities and interact effectively with elderly residents.
• Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in long-term care or activities preferred, but not required.

We are currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and energetic Part-Time Activity Assistants to join our exceptional team of caregivers. In this role, you will play an important part in enhancing the quality of life of our residents by providing meaningful activities, companionship, and social engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging activity programs for elderly residents

• Provide one-on-one interaction and companionship

• Support residents’ emotional, social, and recreational well-being

• Assist with planning and facilitating group activities

• Encourage resident participation and engagement

Compensation:

• hourly rate: $16.00
