Job summary

AristaCare at GreenBrook is seeking an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activities for residents at our Green Brook Township facility. The role supports residents and observes progress in line with individual care plans, under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma and have at least 1 year of recreation experience in a geriatric or healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in recreation within a geriatric or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating activity programs for residents.
• Observe residents' progress and align activities with each resident's assessment and care plan.
• Support residents in social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activities.

Job description

The Activity Aide helps to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activity programs of the facility. Observe residents progress, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
Shift Available: Per Diem 9am-5pm / Every other Weekend

Responsibilities

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in recreation within a geriatric or healthcare setting.
