Job summary

Crown Point Health Campus is currently seeking a Full Time Activity Aide to join our team in Crown Point, Indiana. You will engage residents through personalized and group activities, fostering social interaction and meaningful daily experiences.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in social or recreational programs within a healthcare setting, plus a patient, cheerful demeanor and a collaborative spirit. We offer competitive wages and a supportive work environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred)
• Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
• Able to handle residents at various maturity levels

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing activity program for groups and individuals based on residents’ needs, interest, and abilities as identified in assessment / care plans
• Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy
• Assist in creating the activity calendar
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures
• Encourage participation in Resident Council, schedule monthly meetings

Crown Point Health Campusis looking for high level activity talent to bring the daily living experience to new levels for our residents/patients. One of the most important part of their day is interacting with others through daily happenings with staff and other residents. The Activity Aide will:

• Facilitate ongoing program for group and individual activities based on the residents’ needs, interest, and abilities as identified in assessment / care plans

Activities Aide must have the following:

• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting preferred—butwe’re happy to invest in those new to the field

• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
