Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting preferred
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm required

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing group and individual activities based on residents' needs and interests
• Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart per facility policy
• Assist in creating the activity calendar
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures
• Encourage participation in Resident Council and schedule monthly meetings
