You will plan and lead activities, visit rooms, organize supplies, document participation, and help coordinate evening and weekend events, while promoting engagement and safety.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and creative Activities Assistant to help enrich the lives of our residents through meaningful activities, programs, and events.
Assist with planning and leading individual and group activities
Conduct room visits and provide personalized activities based on resident interests and needs
Organize and maintain activity supplies and equipment
Document resident participation and assist with Resident Council
Help coordinate evening, weekend, holiday, and community events
Promote resident engagement, socialization, and quality of life
Follow safety and infection control procedures during activities
Collaborate with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners
Previous activities programming or long-term care experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Creative, energetic, and adaptable
Compassionate approach when working with seniors and individuals with varying needs
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Ability to move throughout the facility and actively participate in resident activities
Ability to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
