Job description

ELS is hiring for the position of Activities Supervisor in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

What you'll do:

The Activities Supervisor directs the planning and implementation of our resort activities and events. This position creates the fun at the resort. This is a full time, seasonal position from March-November.

Your job will include:

  1. Plan and schedule events for all groups within the resort, as well as private events at the resort facilities.
  2. Coordinate and manage all preparations for events, book entertainers, collect ticket sale money, hand out recreation equipment, monitor pool area and other duties as required.
  3. Review requests and select vendors to conduct informational seminars.
  4. Manage all activities related to monthly newsletters: gather information for articles, prepare layouts, submit final drafts to the printer.
  5. Maintain open communications with resort management, guests and vendors.
  6. At all times, represent the resort in a professional manner.
  7. This is a Full time (40 hours a week) seasonal (April-October) position that requires you to work weekends and holidays.

Skills & experience you need:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Experience in events or activities planning.
  3. Meticulous attention to details.
  4. Excellent communications and organizational skills.
  5. Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of Microsoft Publisher preferred.
