Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of East Louisville invites you to make a difference in residents' lives by joining our Activities Department. You will assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical and therapeutic needs, both in-facility and outside, and provide in-room activities for residents who cannot attend daily events.

Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required; CNA is a plus. We value compassion, the ability to work with residents with diverse needs, and a dedication to

• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet residents' social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities inside and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
