Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Sunrise Manor is seeking a dedicated Activity Staff member to support residents through engaging, person-centered programming. Join a team dedicated to improving social, emotional, and physical well-being in a 137-bed facility.

You will assist in planning and delivering in-room and on-site activities, help create calendars, and work to meet state standards for scheduling and documentation. Previous healthcare experience is helpful, CNA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities both within and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning activities and events.

Salary Range
