The Retreat Club in Davenport, FL is hiring for a full-time Activities/Pool Attendant. You will lead daily activities, welcome guests, and ensure safety and enjoyable experiences across pool and club areas.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification. The role offers benefits and growth in a Troon-managed property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience in recreational hospitality, Cruise Ships, Summer Camps, and/or DJ.
• Must be able to pass CPR/First Aid certifications within a timely manner.

Responsabilités

• Organize and host daily activities according to the monthly calendar.
• Welcome and assist guests as they enter the club.
• Follow policies to ensure guest access, safety and enjoyment.
• Ensure inventory needs are met.
• Conduct cash handling and POS at Sundries Retail.
• Lead by example as a team leader.
• Maintain communication between team members about club operations and guest issues.
• Help keep the pool deck clean and organized.

The Retreat Club, located in Davenport, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Activities/Pool Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Summary:

You are the life of the party, you are interacting and finding innovative ideas to engage with guest of all ages. Your astounding personality will make a memorable impression and have our guests ready to relax during their stay with the Retreat Club. A successful candidate should have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of similar experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing and hosting the daily activities as listed in the monthly activity calendar.
• Responsible for welcoming and assisting guests as they enter into the club.
• Responsible for following policies and procedures as set forth to ensure guest/member access, safety, and enjoyment for all guests/members.
• Responsible for ensuring all inventory needs are met.
• Must be able to conduct cash handling and point of sale at Sundries Retail.
• Be a team leader and lead by example.
• It will be the responsibility of the Activity Host to maintain effective lines of communication between all team members in regards to club operations and issues relating to the guests/members.
• Responsible to help keep the pool deck cleaned up and organized.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience in recreational hospitality, Cruise Ships, Summer Camps, and/or DJ.
• Must be able to pass CPR/First Aid certifications within a timely manner.
