Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking an Activities Ops Supervisor to lead guest experiences and events within a vibrant resort environment, creating memorable moments for Owners and guests.

The role involves supervising activities staff, planning agendas, managing inventory, and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations while upholding MVW standards and guest service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Creates recreational activities agendas and advertisements using publishing software.
• Conducts inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and informs the manager of low-supply items.
• Encourages, recruits, registers, and schedules Owners/guests to participate in recreational activities. Promotes a fun and relaxing atmosphere for Owner/guests.
• Supervises the Activities associates. Assists management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serves as a role model.
• Ensures that hourly associates are trained on company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job.
• Coordinates tasks and work with other departments to ensure that the department runs efficiently.
• Promotes the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of Owner/guests and members.

Job description

Hourly Rate: $32.10

Hourly Wage: $32.10

Valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.

As a Activities Ops Supervisor, a typical day will include:

To Become a Activities Ops Supervisor at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25 lbs without assistance.

• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
