Job summary

Southall Farm and Inn is seeking an Activities Operations Coordinator to facilitate guest-tailored outdoor programming across Southall property, including aerial courses, hikes, archery, and more. You will supervise staff, develop programs, ensure safety, and coordinate logistics to deliver a 5-star experience for guests.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience supervising and supporting staff.
• 2 years of experience teaching or facilitating experiential programs.
• Previous hospitality and customer service experience.
• CPR/AED & First Aid certification within 30 days of starting employment.
• Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
• Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
• Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe, welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff
• Train and develop Southall programs and staff
• Leads Service Harmonies participation and execution
• Provides backup support for new program development (focus-specific initiatives)
• Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies for all activities
• Oversees ropes training and certifications, ensuring safety compliance and operational readiness
• Operational support of Program Guides in facilitation of programming and transporting of guest
• Coordinate Team Quest programming
• Oversee opening and/or closing duties
• Facilitation of Southall programming with an emphasis on safety, education, and unique experiences
• Leads staff activities coordination
• Assist with communication and scheduling of user groups and guests
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by Southall Leadership

Programs include Aerial Adventure Course, Guided Hikes, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Archery, Axe Throwing, Fishing, Canoeing, and more. Southall Staff aim to provide 5-star level experience in all aspects of their interactions with guests.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience supervising and supporting staff

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, recreation, business management or other relevant fields

• This position spends the majority of the day outdoors and moving throughout the property
