Job summary

CommuniCare Health's Lewisburg Healthcare Center in Ronceverte, WV is seeking a friendly Part-Time Activities Assistant to engage residents in meaningful, enjoyable activities. You will work directly with our elderly population, helping plan and lead social and recreational programs to promote socialization and wellness.

The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, patient, and reliable, with basic computer skills and a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Prior experience with software applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized activity care and services to residents.
• Collaborate with the activities department and interdisciplinary teams to support resident engagement.
• Plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities for residents.
