Job summary

CommuniCare Health's Lewisburg Healthcare Center in Lewisburg, WV is recruiting a Part-Time Activities Assistant to provide individualized activity care for residents.

You will work as part of the activities team and with other disciplines to plan and conduct group and one-on-one activities, leveraging basic computer skills and a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Prior experience preferably with related software applications.
• Must be able to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must possess an active state driver’s license.

Purpose / Belief Statement:

The position of Activities Assistant provides individualized activity care and services for residents. This position functions as both a team member within the activities department and an interdisciplinary team member for an assigned unit(s) fostering team success.
