Job summary

Morgantown Healthcare Center, a CommuniCare Family of Companies facility, is seeking a Part Time Activities Assistant to energize and engage residents with personalized activities while supporting daily living and social interactions.

You will work directly with residents, bringing energy, compassion, and reliability to a caring team. Daily Pay is offered, along with competitive wages and PTO plans to valued staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with activities or in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
• Basic computer literacy and use of common software.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized activity care and services to residents.
• Collaborate as a team member within the activities department and interdisciplinary units.
• Engage residents to promote socialization and community involvement.
• Assist in planning and executing recreational programs and events.

PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT:

The position of Activities Assistant provides individualized activity care and services for residents. This position functions as both a team member within the activities department and an interdisciplinary team member for an assigned unit(s) fostering team success.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Prior experience preferably with related software applications.
