Job summary

Excelsior Care Group’s Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking an Activities Director to lead engaging, person-centered programs that enhance residents’ quality of life in Orlando. This role requires planning and overseeing activities, coordinating outings, and managing documentation in a compassionate environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of college, state qualification alignment, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of college completed.
• State requirements for an Activities Professional or related qualification must be met.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing activities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee individualized activities and recreational programs.
• Coordinate outings, transportation, and community partnerships.
• Complete required documentation and administrative duties.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies.
• Lead the Activities Department and support staffing and budgeting needs.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to promote meaningful engagement.
