Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking an Activities Director to lead engaging, person-centered programs that enhance residents’ quality of life.

The role is full-time (Monday–Friday) in Orlando, Florida, with a salary in the range of $50,000 to $62,000 annually. Responsibilities include planning activities, coordinating outings, documenting, and supporting budgeting and staffing, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of college; degree preferred.
• Must meet applicable state requirements for an Activities Professional or related qualification.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing activities experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee individualized activities and recreational programs.
• Coordinate outings, transportation, and community partnerships.
• Complete required documentation and administrative duties.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies.
• Lead the Activities Department and support staffing and budgeting needs.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to promote meaningful engagement.
