Activities Director Responsibilities include:
- Plan, schedule, and implement activities for a seven-day weekly calendar, considering residents' preferences.
- Identify the special needs of each resident and create plans to accommodate those needs.
- Involve residents in planning recreation objectives and goals.
- Integrate residents into the community through facility activities and outings.
- Create a positive image and establish good relationships within the community, including press relations, promotional activities, scrapbooks, and displays.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field; certification as an Activity Professional preferred.
- Two years of activities management experience preferred.
