Maple Hill Senior Living is seeking an Activities Director for full-time hours to plan and oversee activity programs for residents in a skilled nursing or senior living setting.

Responsibilities include organizing social and recreational activities aligned with resident care plans, while demonstrating a professional image and strong communication skills. Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy or related field and active licensure/registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Fire and passion for working with seniors.
• Flexible, fun, energetic personality.
• Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area; should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State.
• Minimum of one year of Experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
• Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
