Job summary

Capital Vacations in Duck, North Carolina is looking for an Activities Director to design and implement engaging activities for guests and owners at the resort. The position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of two years experience in guest services and recreation management.

The ideal candidate should possess exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Join our team and help enhance the vacation experience for our guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of Guest Services experience in a hotel/resort field.
• Minimum two (2) years of Recreational experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, schedules, and implements resort activities for all guests and Owners.
• Maintains and balances operational expenses for the department.
• Coordinates special projects and events with off-site vendors and attractions.

The Activities Director designs and implements Resort activities for all guests and Owners, ensuring an enjoyable Resort stay.

• Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
• Designs, schedules, and implements resort activities for all guests and Owners
• Maintains and balances operational expenses for the department
• Designs, schedules and implements special events for holidays and other occasions
• Coordinates special projects and events with off-site vendors and attractions
• Publishes and designs a weekly recreational calendar
• Purchases and maintains sports equipment and gaming library
• Provides quality control of recreational areas, including basketball courts, tennis courts, pool areas, and children's playground
• Provides follow-up reports to management with regard to special projects and responsibilities
• Assists in planning employee-related functions within the workplace
• Supervises, trains, and mentors staff
• Provides exemplary guest service to all Owners, exchangers and resort guests
• Complies and enforces all company policies and procedures
• All other duties as requested
