Senior LIFE PACE is seeking a Vibrant, Energetic Activities Coordinator to oversee activities functions and develop programs for elderly clients. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring safety, and managing administrative functions. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.
This full-time position requires a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a focus on fostering a positive environment that encourages social and recreational participation.

The Activities Coordinator will also be responsible for managing and overseeing a number of administrative functions for the department, including relevant documentation to medical records. Additionally, the Activities Coordinator will be expected to participate in ongoing professional development and training to ensure full compliance with industry-wide protocol as well as to keep Senior LIFE’s activities program highly competitive in the marketplace.
Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a social or recreational role that specifically centers on the elderly community. Strong communication skills as well as an ability to thrive and inspire in a team-based setting are key to this role. An ability to organize, prioritize, and effectively implement new practices and procedures and a desire to effect positive change within an underserved community are also essential characteristics Senior LIFE looks for in this role.
Since some travel to member's homes is required, a valid driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation is also mandatory.
