Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all residents, resident family members, and associates. (Daily)
- Maintain a high degree of resident, family and guest satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high-quality services. (Daily)
- Effectively and appropriately communicate with each co-worker and community leader. (Daily)
- Maintain a positive image with the community. (Daily)
- Maintain an atmosphere of stability. (Daily)
- Assist Activities Director with coordinating and facilitating activities and events for residents, both inside and outside the community, designed to promote resident’s creativity, physical and mental well-being, socialization, and fun! (Daily)
- Encourage resident socialization and participation in activities and events to minimize resident solidarity and promote a positive community environment. (Daily)
- Maintain an inventory checklist of all supplies and materials required to enhance the activities program. (Daily)
- Assign tasks to volunteers and encourage their participation in community events and activities programs. (Daily)
- Provide administrative duties to support the Activities team as assigned by the Activities Director. (Daily)
- Help welcome new residents upon move-in (balloons and framed announcements, shadow box/shelves decorated, etc.). (Daily)
- Work alongside care staff to transport residents to activities and events. (Daily)
- Continue to develop job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities by participating in continuing educational opportunities for personal growth and development. (Daily)
- Complete and adhere to all other tasks and responsibilities set by the direct supervisor. (Daily)
- Regular and predictable attendance daily. (Daily)
- Immediately report any workplace injury to your direct supervisor. (As needed)
- Drive community vehicle. (As needed)
