Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, education, or healthcare-related field (preferred).
• Alternatively, two years of senior living activities experience in the last five years.
• Activities certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a variety of recreational and educational activities, including events, groups, and visits.
• Create and distribute monthly calendars and other promotional materials.
• Develop resident assessments to tailor programs to needs and interests.
• Coordinate Resident Council and family meetings; connect with community resources.
• Ensure residents move safely to and from recreational areas.
• Maintain reports, schedules, and inventories in line with regulations.
• Communicate program goals to staff, volunteers, and relatives.
• Transport residents to off-site activities.
