As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and facilitating engaging activities for seniors. Pay Range: $26.00 – 28.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full Time, Non-exempt
Shift and Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday (9:00AM – 5:30PM)
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred.
Performance Incentives:
Holiday Pay at 1.5x
Customer service experience and experience with seniors preferred.
Dementia care experience is preferred.
Must undergo a physical exam and TB screening with negative results prior to employment.
Must obtain clearance or exemption from the Department of Social Services after FBI and DOJ background checks.
Must read, understand, and sign the Report of Suspected Physical Abuse of a Dependent Elder (SOC341A).
Assist the Director of Life Enrichment in planning, organizing, and facilitating daily activities, events, and outings for residents.
Set up activity areas, ensuring materials and equipment are ready.
Engage residents in activities like games, arts and crafts, exercise, and outings. Support participation, adapt to individual needs, and foster a welcoming environment. Maintain professionalism and hospitality.
Lead social events and outings, assist with transportation, and ensure residents’ safety during activities.
Report concerns or behavioral changes to the Director of Life Enrichment.
