Sunrise Senior Living in Burke, VA is seeking an Activities & Volunteer Coordinator to lead resident engagement, volunteer services, concierge operations, and customer experience programs that create connection, purpose, and well-being.

You will plan and evaluate programs, supervise volunteers and staff, recruit and train volunteers, track participation and satisfaction, and partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins and ongoing engagement.

Qualificações

• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience in senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and event-planning skills.
• Experience with volunteer/engagement technology andReporting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, implement, and evaluate resident-centered engagement programs and events.
• Oversee activities, entertainment, and wellness programming across neighborhoods, including memory care.
• Supervise team members, volunteers, and concierge staff.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain volunteers; build community partnerships.
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement metrics to improve programming.
• Manage engagement documentation, calendars, reporting, and technology platforms.
• Lead concierge operations, delivering exceptional experiences for residents, families, and visitors.
• Support budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and operational planning.
• Partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins and ongoing engagement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and Sunrise quality standards.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
• Strong organizational, communication, and event-planning skills
• Experience with volunteer/engagement technology and reporting preferred
• Sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for creating meaningful resident experiences
• Valid driver's license, if required

Pay Range: 22.15 - 27.75
