Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health in California is seeking an Activities/Behavioral Specialist to provide quality care to residents with behavioral needs. You will work with other departments to deliver therapeutic activities and adjust care plans to support each resident’s recovery journey.

This full-time position offers a 11:00am–7:30pm schedule (Sunday-Thursday) with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, vacation and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CNA with 2 years mental health experience.
• Experience implementing treatment plans.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, employees, and outside agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to residents with behavioral needs and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with facility departments to deliver therapeutic activities and a homelike environment.
• Support residents in meeting their personal goals through treatment plans.

Title:Activities/Behavioral Specialist

Job Duties: The Activities/Behavioral Specialist provides quality care to residents with behavioral needs. The Activities/Behavioral Specialist works in conjunction with other facility departments to provide activities and support and makes changes to care plans as needed to provide a therapeutic yet homelike environment as we strive to assist our residents in meeting their goals.

Schedule:

• Full-Time: 11:00am-7:30pm (Sunday-Thursday)

• Bachelor's degree or CNA with 2 years mental health experience.
• Experience implementing treatment plans.
• Ability to effectively communicate via written and verbal methods with residents, employees, and outside agencies.

About the Campus: Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) / Special Treatment Programs (STPs) provide behavioral intervention to consumers with mental disorders in secure residential settings. Services include behavior modification, skilled nursing, prevocational and life skills training, recreation, and rehabilitation.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:

$21 - $26 USD
