Presbyterian Homes & Services - Towner Crest in Oconomowoc, WI is seeking Weekend Life Enrichment/Activity Assistants to join our team!

The Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for implementing and monitoring life enrichment programming for our senior residents, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, procedures, and best practices.

Part-time: Rotating Weekend Hours

(Sat & Sun Hours are 9:45a - 2:45p, based on programming)

About This Community

Towner Crest sits atop a hill surrounded by tall pines, adjacent to the Oconomowoc Golf Club. This community serves Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care senior residents.

Responsibilities

• Implement assigned activities that help residents achieve “their best day,” fostering meaningful relationships and activities.
• Perform daily routines and assignments to meet psychosocial and activity needs, including creating opportunities for recreation, exercise, social interaction, personal routines, spontaneous activities, and more.
• Participate in daily Chat Circles with residents and staff.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice, whether group, individual, or one-on-one.
• Take residents outdoors or into the community.
• Participate in outings and special events.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks such as assisting with correspondence, reading/writing letters, etc.
• Provide personalized interactions based on resident preferences.
• Transport or escort residents within the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or equivalent.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, initiative, and good rapport with residents, staff, families, and volunteers.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for effective communication.
