Now HIRING for our Weekend Activities Assistant

Shift: Sat/Sun (9A-5P)

Under new administration and leadership, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time Activities Assistant to join our team. Located in Wichita, KS, we are proud to be a top choice for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care in Sedgwick County.

The primary purpose of the activities team is to support the planning and implementation of engaging activities for residents that promote well-being and quality of life. This position offers a flexible work schedule between 9:00AM-5:00PM, including weekends, those with previous long-term care, psych, rehab, or dementia experiences are encouraged to apply!

What You'll Do:

️ Help plan and lead engaging activities for individuals and groups.
️ Assist in creating exciting monthly activity calendars.
️ Encourage residents to participate in hobbies, crafts, and social events.
️ Work closely with staff, residents, families, and community partners.
️ Support care planning and assist with resident assessments.
️ Coordinate transportation for outings and appointments.
️ Keep our activity spaces organized and welcoming.
