Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Activities Assistant at our Raintree Village community in Lees Summit, MO. This part-time role supports the Activities Director in planning and delivering resident-centered activities and advocacy across the community.

The ideal candidate will assist with program execution, communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, and work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid drivers license, class E drivers license and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Living Activities Assistant participate in activities with residents of the community.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant maintains department activity logs and documentation.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant understands, practices and communicates resident directed/centered care on a daily basis as it relates to the activities department.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant plans activities as directed by supervisor.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant works with the resident and family councils.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant has the ability to direct and supervise volunteers.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant helps with Dietary if requested.

Role

We are seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team! The Activities Assistant responsible for assisting the Activities Director with a program of activities at the community. The Activities Assistant has the ability to communicate effectively and advocate for Elder centered/directed care to team members, families, physicians, allied health professionals and the at large community.
