Job summary

Ascension in Chicago, IL seeks an Activities Aide to support patient care through activity planning and implementation. This on-site role is part-time with rotating shifts and involves helping meet individual treatment goals in a supportive environment.

You’ll participate in activity projects, maintain a safe and organized space, and perform clerical tasks as needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with required licensure like BLS and AED within 30 days and an active driver's license.

Qualifications

• BL S Provider certification within 30 days of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted)
• Heart Saver AED within 30 days of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Active Driver's License
• Available to work every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment of activity needs to meet individual treatment goals and objectives
• Facilitate and participate in activity-related projects and events
• Keep treatment area clean, safe, and organized
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned
