Job summary

Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to support seniors with engaging programs. The role requires creativity, outgoing energy, and the ability to motivate residents in daily activities and events.

Hours are 16 per week, with every other weekend and holidays required. Applicants must have a HS diploma or GED, be at least 18, and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must relate professionally to residents and families and to work cooperatively with others.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in development, organization, coordination, and implementation of therapeutic recreation services and programs for residents.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
