Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center, a 118 bed skilled nursing facility located in Natick, MA, is looking for an Activity Assistant to join our team. Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center has been deeply rooted in the MetroWest community for over 25 years with a reputation for providing high quality care. This facility is situated in a beautiful setting with modern updates to the property and state of the art short term rehab unit and therapy gym.
The Activity Assistant/ Activity Aide assists in the implementation of all activities programs in the dementia, long-term, and sub-acute units. In doing so, the Activity Aide may work with staff from all other departments and with volunteers. The Therapeutic Activity department provides and coordinates services and support the meet the interests of each resident. Programming focuses on enhancing the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience in a familial, social or recreational program within the last five years.
