Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center in Natick, MA is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our dedicated team. This part-time role focuses on supporting dementia, long-term, and sub-acute residents by helping plan and implement engaging activities aligned with each resident’s interests.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and may involve 1–3 months related experience. Work primarily on-site, with Monday and Friday shifts and alternating weekends; compensation ranges from $15 to $20

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 0–3 months related experience in a familial, social or recreational program within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing all activities programs across dementia, long-term, and sub-acute units.
• Collaborate with staff from other departments and volunteers to meet resident interests.
• Support Therapeutic Activity Department in coordinating services to enhance residents' well-being.

Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center, a 118 bed skilled nursing facility located in Natick, MA, is looking for an Activity Assistant to join our team. Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center has been deeply rooted in the MetroWest community for over 25 years with a reputation for providing high quality care. This facility is situated in a beautiful setting with modern updates to the property and state of the art short term rehab unit and therapy gym.

Summary

The Activity Assistant/ Activity Aide assists in the implementation of all activities programs in the dementia, long-term, and sub-acute units. In doing so, the Activity Aide may work with staff from all other departments and with volunteers. The Therapeutic Activity department provides and coordinates services and support the meet the interests of each resident. Programming focuses on enhancing the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience in a familial, social or recreational program within the last five years.
