Hanover Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hanover, PA is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to support the Director of Activities by planning, leading, and executing programs that meet residents' emotional, recreational, social, and spiritual needs.
The role is full-time, 9am-5pm, with every other weekend and holiday required, and includes opportunities to work with residents to promote engagement, creativity, and well-being in a supportive team environment.

Hanover Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a motivated and energetic Activities Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility. This role supports the Director of Activities by helping plan, lead, and carry out engaging programs that meet the emotional, recreational, social, and spiritual needs of our residents.
Full-Time: 9am-5pm
Every other weekend and holiday required
Plan, lead, and assist with resident activities that promote socialization, creativity, exercise, and overall well-being
Motivate and encourage resident participation; confidently lead group and one-on-one activities
Assist residents with daily personal activities such as writing letters, making phone calls, and participating in programs
Escort residents to scheduled activities and events
Assist with resident progress documentation and activity attendance tracking
Support facility engagement efforts, including mail delivery, plant care, pet/fish care, newsletter preparation, fundraising, and PA announcements
Provide and supervise the use of craft supplies, materials, and equipment
Encourage residents to express creativity and maximize independence
High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior long-term care or experience working with elderly or disabled populations preferred
Motivated, dependable, and able to independently lead activities
Must be at least 18 years of age
