Job summary

The Residence at Willow Grove in Willow Grove, PA is seeking a warm, energetic Activities Assistant to create engaging experiences for residents.

Starting pay is $15.00/hr with full-time and part-time schedules, dayshift, and every other weekend. You will lead activities, events, and one-on-one engagement across assisted living and memory care, fostering a welcoming, compassionate community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with seniors, activities, recreation, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks, assessment, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in daily activities, games, crafts, music programs, exercise classes, and social events.
• Encourage resident participation and build meaningful relationships.
• Spend one-on-one time with residents based on interests and preferences.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and preparing community events and celebrations.
• Help decorate and prepare activity spaces for programs and special occasions.
• Support resident engagement in both assisted living and memory care settings.
• Assist with resident outings and transportation as needed.
• Create a welcoming, positive, and engaging environment throughout the community.

Requirements:
