The Daughters of Charity Ministries, Inc. invites you to join our team as a Per Diem Activities Assistant on our campus in New York. You will support engaging programs for Sister-residents, report to the Life Enrichment Director, and help create a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include planning and supporting recreational activities, assisting with calendars and administrative tasks, escorting residents, and using LifeLoop. A NYS driver's license and computer skills are required.

• Be organized and comfortable assisting with digital calendars, documentation and basic administrative tasks.
• A clean, valid NYS driver's license is required.
• Computer skills required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain an organized, clean, and neat environment for residents including activity engagement spaces.
• Drive community bus or car when transportation is needed.

The Daughters of Charity, provides a safe, welcoming home for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity Ministries. We offer independent living, assisted living and memory care, and our team plays a vital role in creating an environment where Sisters feel respected.

We are currently seeking a Per Diem Activities Assistant to support engaging, meaningful programs that enhance the daily lives of our Sister-residents on our campus. This role reports to the Life Enrichment Director.

Physical Demands:

Must be physically able to efficiently perform the duties of the position, which may involve the following: Stand, walk, and sit from 1/3 to 2/3 of the day; reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and use of fingers to handle and feel over 2/3 of the day; Climbing or balancing, talking or hearing, and tasting or smelling under 1/3 of the day.
